Register for the Vale's free online social media workshop on Tuesday, 16th February

Have you been planning to develop an online presence for your business, but you're not sure on how to tackle the tricky world of social media?

Perhaps you've already got an online presence but would like support in advertising, selling your products and services or finding clients on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn?

Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, businesses have had to act quickly to develop an online presence, in order to keep trading. However, the Vale's business team (SVBS) are receiving many calls for support in navigating the ever-changing, fast-paced social media platforms.

To help, the Vale's business team have teamed up with Concise Training to deliver a series of free workshops on how to get started with social media and moving forward if you already have an online presence, including useful tips and advice on how to promote your services and products to a wider audience.

First up in the series is 'Getting Started with Social Media', aimed at business people who have little or no online presence and are not sure where to start.

  •     Choosing the correct channels for your business and your audience
  •     Getting started with Facebook, including:
    •     - Page vs Profiles
    •     - Creating a page
    •     - Posting content
    •     - Attracting followers
  •     Getting started with Instagram, including:
    •     - Posting images
    •     - Introduction to hashtags
    •     - Attracting followers
  •     Action Planning
