Covid19 Lockdown rules (England) from Thursday, 5th November 2020

  • You should stay at home except for specific reasons including education, work (if it can't be done from home), exercise and recreation, medical reasons, food and other essential shopping and to provide care.
     
  • Households are not allowed to mix indoors, or outdoors in private gardens.
     
  • You are allowed to meet one other person from another household outside in a public place.
     
  • You should work at home if possible. If you have to return to your workplace your employer must make arrangements for you to work safely.
     
  • You should not travel except for specific reasons including education, work (if it can't be done from home), exercise and recreation, medical reasons, food and other essential shopping and to provide care.
     
  • Support bubbles will remain for people who live alone and households made up of single parents and children. Children will be able to move between homes if their parents are separated.
     
  • Pubs, restaurants and bars will close, except for takeaways.
     
  • Leisure and entertainment venues, including gyms, will all close.
     
  • All non-essential shops will close, but click-and-collect and delivery services can continue.
     
  • There will be no limit on the time allowed for exercise outdoors and recreation will allow, for example, sitting on a park bench or eating and drinking outside.
