The Uffington Museum Trustees are delighted to announce that David Miles will make a presentation at 6.30 pm on Monday 24 January 2022 in the Thomas Hughes Memorial Hall, Uffington on: ‘Caring for The White Horse – 3,000 years of a British icon’.  The hall will open at 6.00pm.
 
David was formerly Director of Oxford Archaeology and the Chief Archaeologist of English Heritage. He is the author of The Land of the White Horse and knows a huge amount about our local area.   
 
Because of Covid restrictions, which may well change before 24 January, numbers attending are restricted to 60, so please book in for the presentation, on a first come first served, no cost, basis, by emailing [email protected] and be prepared to wear a mask throughout the presentation.
