Chalking the White Horse - Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th July, 10am - 3pm

Adults and children alike are invited to join the Ranger at White Horse Hill, Uffington to help with the upkeep of this ancient monument by re-chalking the Horse.

  • Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th July
  • Sunday 26th & Monday 27th August
  • Tools and gloves are provided. Please wear clothing suitable for the weather and be prepared to get dirty!
  • 10am - 4pm each day. Event is FREE however please be aware that parking charges may apply.

Childrey Fest - Music, Food, Beer & Good Times for all the Family - Sat, 7th July

Childreyfest is back with a fresh look to the festival with both new and old music, locally-brewed real ales and a selection of tasty treats!

This year we are pulling out all the stops, so grab your tickets and get those ears ready to hear the sweet sounds of Childreyfest 2018.

This traditional english festival includes a great line up of live music, stalls, kids entertainment, activities, a variety of food stalls and a real ale bar.

Bring the family, friends and everyone in between for Bands, Beer and Basking in the Sun!

The day will kick off with family fun and other activities.

A solo exhibition highlighting local artist, Leila Anderson’s recent artwork will be held at Childrey village hall from Friday, 29th June.

Leila lives in Westcot, working from her garden studio and taking inspiration from the Ridgeway and our beautiful surrounding landscape. 

This exhibition will showcase recent work and her latest paintings from Andalusia. 

10% of any sales will be donated to Macmillan.

No clothes/anything to large for one person to carry/toxic/hazardous/broken items please. Large items can advertised on a board at the event.

The market (usually) runs every third Sunday of the month in the car park of the Thomas Hughes Memorial Hall, Uffington. SN7 7SB. 10am to 12.30pm.

Established in 2015, the Uffington Farmers Market is a non-profit community market organised by village residents.
