Footpath Walkers

We meet on the first Sunday of each month, with tea or coffee at 11:00 before each walk.

Walks vary depending on the weather, but are usually around 1 to 1.5 hours.

We try to cover all of the footpaths in our parish throughout the year, and due to the ‘strip’ nature of our parish our walks often go into either Childrey or Kingston Lisle parishes.

Summer walks have been known to end at the pub!

The footpath walks serve a number of purposes:-

  • To keep our footpaths alive.
  • To ensure that they are being maintained (we report issues to the parish council – e.g. damaged stiles, paths not cleared through crops or ploughed fields).
  • To enjoy our parish and countryside.
  • To meet and have fun!
